Privacy policy

Prima Healthcare is a home care agency based on the Kenyan Coast. We arrange nursing, caregiving, physiotherapy, and related services for patients in their homes. Our contact email is info@primahealthcare.co.ke.

When you use our inquiry or application forms, we collect the information you give us. This includes:

• Names, phone numbers, and email addresses
• The patient’s age, gender, and medical diagnosis or condition
• Your location or area of care
• The services you are asking about
• For job applicants: National ID or passport number, employment history, qualifications, clinical experience, and any CV you upload

We do not collect payment card information through this site.

We use this information only for the purpose it was given:

• To respond to your care inquiry and arrange an assessment
• To match you or your family member with the right nurse or caregiver
• To review and follow up on job applications
• To keep records required by law

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Your information is seen by Prima Healthcare staff who are directly involved in your care or your application. Medical information about a patient is treated as confidential clinical data. Staff handling it are bound by professional and contractual obligations of confidentiality.

Form submissions are processed through Formspree, a third-party service that forwards your data to our email. Formspree’s own privacy policy governs how they handle that data in transit.

Clinical and care records are kept for a minimum of seven years from the date care ends, in line with Kenya’s medical records retention requirements. Job applications that do not lead to employment are kept for six months, then deleted. You may request earlier deletion where this does not conflict with a legal obligation.

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Request a copy of it
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong
• Ask us to delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it
• Withdraw consent you previously gave us

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@primahealthcare.co.ke. We will respond within 21 days.

Medical information you share with us is handled with strict confidentiality. We follow the principles set out under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) as a standard of care for protecting health information, even where Kenyan law does not expressly require it. Patient diagnoses, conditions, and care details are not shared with anyone outside Prima Healthcare without your written consent, except where required by law.

This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising scripts. We do not place cookies on your device beyond what your browser requires to load the pages.

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. We recommend checking it occasionally.
